Lincoln’s Journey

We wanted to share a video documenting Lincoln’s journey.  We are so very grateful for all of the prayers, love and support from each of you.  Our hearts are forever changed as a result of the last three months.

Thank you from the Zapata family.

  1. This was wonderful, thank you! The complete turn around Lincoln has made is truly God-given. We continue to keep him in our prayers and can’t wait to meet him. Huge hugs from both of us.

  2. Thanks for the lovely video. As I watched it I felt so proud to have you, Dave, Rosie and Lincoln in our extended family. God Bless you all on this special weekend. Aunt Ginger and Uncle Tom

  3. It’s nearly impossible to watch the video without tearing up. Thank you so much for sharing it. As I watched it, I couldn’t but help think of the passage in Isaiah 43:1-3a. Your story is a testimony of God walking with you through this fire. Thank you for sharing it. When you could have gotten angry and frustrated, you took the high road and demonstrated so much patience, perseverance and trust. Your entire family was a blessing to all those you encountered. I love that Lincoln is smiling now. I love the final video clip of Rosie seeing Lincoln in your home for the first time. Often times trials like this tear families apart… not the Zapata family. Seeing you guys love each other so well exemplified what I’d like my family to be like some day. Thanks for being willing to share your story with us. With much love, Lizzy

  4. Dear Dave and Katie: That is the loveliest, most thoughtful “Thank You” you could possibly come up with. Tears, Joy, and Gratitude watching it…..

  5. Katie, we who have followed your journey are the ones who have been rewarded by seeing your family’s love and strength and by taking Lincoln into our hearts. Blessings to you,

Janine Rider, your mom’s buddy since fifth grade

  8. Where is a box of kleenex? Wow-very powerful!!! God is so GOOD and Lincoln is so lucky to have such an incredible family. You will learn everyday something new from this painful experience. I am thrilled he is doing so well and your whole family is just PRECIOUS. Katie, you always had this amazing spirit and you have touched many. Pam Ellerman

  9. Thanking you for strengthening my faith by watching this incredible journey through your eyes and words. I have shed tears and prayed whenever God brought you to mind and know how He holds you in the palm of His hand. Dave’s video was such a perfect reminder of how God is still in the miracle business. Praising Him!
